2023 Annual Membership Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the annual meeting of RadiFi Credit Union will be held at 562 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204 on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 6:00 pm.

The meeting is held for the following purposes: (1) to elect two directors of the credit union; and (2) to transact any business that may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment of the meeting.

The Chairman of the Board has appointed the following Directors to the Nominating Committee:

Senovia Portis, Chair
Rodomir Desir
Charles McLeod

Nominations by petition are accepted up to 45 days prior to the Annual Meeting. The member must present a petition containing signatures and account numbers of 1% of the eligible voting members of RadiFi Credit Union not to exceed a count of 500 signatures. Additionally, the nominee by petition must complete a Volunteer Application which is available by request at 562 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Nominees by petitions must meet the following criteria:

  • 45 days prior to the Annual Meeting, the member must present a petition containing signatures and account numbers of 1% of eligible voting members to a maximum of 500 to the Nominating Committee at PO Box 551321, Jacksonville, FL 32255-1321.
  • Completion of the Volunteer Application.

The ByLaws require that the petitioner meet 3 requirements: be an existing member, never have been convicted of a crime resulting in breach of trust of fiduciary duty and be at least 18 years of age.

The nominations received from the Nominating Committee and from petitions will be posted in the credit union branches at least thirty-five (35) days before the annual meeting.

Patrick ONeill headshot governance PAT O’NEILL

Director Pat O’Neill has been a member of RadiFi Credit Union for more than 30 years and served on the credit union’s Supervisory Committee for over 20 years. Currently, he serves as the Board Secretary/Treasurer.

Mr. O’Neill retired from the Internal Revenue Service with over 30 years of service, and he serve in the U.S. Army for two years. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant. He enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

 

 

 

Joseph Sharp headshot governance Joseph W. Sharp

Director Joseph W. Sharp has been a member of RadiFi Credit Union since 1975, and he was appointed to the Board in 1980. He served as board Chairman and vice chairman for many years. He has been on the following committees: Executive, Membership, Building, Asset/Management and Credit Committees.

Mr. Sharp has been active in banking, finance, an law. An active Florida bar member for over 50 years, Joseph is an estate planning attorney based in Palm Coast, Florida. He has studied at the London School of Business, holds a law degree from the University of Kentucky, and certificates from the University of Tennessee and the University of Miami. He has served with the US Treasury as a territory manager for the East coast.

Joseph currently lectures worldwide as a cruise speaker on Estate and Financial Planning and World Economics.
