IDCHECK: WHAT TO EXPECT FOR RADIFI’S OUT-OF-STATE SHARED BRANCH VISITORS
in
At RadiFi Credit Union, protecting your financial security is one of our top priorities. That’s why we’re introducing IDCheck, a new identity verification process for visitors using shared branching services at our locations.
Starting May 1, 2025, if you’re visiting a RadiFi branch through shared branching and present an out-of-state ID for a withdrawal transaction, you’ll be required to complete IDCheck. This includes presenting a passport, which will also be treated as an out-of-state ID.
Why IDCheck?
Out-of-state IDs are more commonly associated with fraudulent activity at shared branches. IDCheck adds a fast, secure extra step to help verify your identity and protect your accounts.
Here’s How IDCheck Works When You Visit RadiFi:
- Scan the QR Code: Look for signs posted in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
- Enter Your Information: Provide your member account number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Take Photos: Snap a picture of your valid government-issued ID (front and back) and a quick selfie. (Military IDs cannot be used due to federal regulations.)
- Receive Your Access Code: After verification, you’ll get a temporary access code.
- Show the Code to Our Member Success Advocate: Present the code to complete your transaction. (The code is valid for about 20 minutes.)
If you’ve used IDCheck before, the process will be even faster next time!
Come prepared for IDCheck with the following personal identification:
- Bring a Valid, Unexpired Government-Issued ID.
- You’ll Need a Smartphone or Smart Device with a camera.
- Know Your Account Number for your home credit union account.
A Note for RadiFi Members:
When traveling out of state or visiting another credit union’s shared branch location to access your RadiFi account, you will be REQUIRED to complete ID Check.
IDCheck is part of a growing effort to enhance security across the shared branching network and help protect your account wherever you go.
Thank you for helping us keep shared branching safe and secure!
