Got questions about how the Refer-a-Friend Program works? We’ve put together answers to the most common questions so you’ll know exactly how to refer someone, what makes a referral eligible, and when you can expect your reward.
Yes. You must be the primary member on your account, in good standing, to participate. A member in good standing means all loans are current and the account has a positive balance.
You can refer friends, family members, or coworkers who are 18 or older, meet RadiFi’s membership eligibility requirements, and are not current members or joint account owners. They also must not have been a RadiFi member within the past 12 months.
You can submit a referral by completing RadiFi’s official Refer-a-Friend form available online. Provide your friend’s contact information, and a RadiFi associate will reach out to invite them to join.
Absolutely! You can make multiple referrals and earn $25 for each eligible new member you refer who meets the qualifications.
Once your friend joins, keeps their account open for at least 90 days, and meets all eligibility requirements, we’ll deposit $25 into both your primary savings accounts within 30 days (after those first 90 days the account has been opened).
We’ll contact your friend, explain the benefits of joining RadiFi, and help them open their account.
Yes. Referrals must result in the referred person joining RadiFi in the same calendar year the referral is submitted.

We want you to enjoy sharing RadiFi with friends and family — and to make sure you know exactly how the program works, here are the official Terms & Conditions. They cover who can participate, how referrals are processed, and when rewards are paid.

By participating in the RadiFi Credit Union Refer-a-Friend Program (“Program”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
- Program Overview
The Program rewards eligible RadiFi Credit Union members (“Referring Member”) and their referred friends, family, or neighbors (“Referred Member”) with a $25 deposit each when the Referred Member opens a qualifying RadiFi Credit Union membership and meets all eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
Referring Member must:
- Be an existing RadiFi Credit Union member in good standing.
- Member in good standing means all loans are current and the account has a positive balance.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Maintain membership through the time the referral reward is paid.
Referred Member must:
- Be a new member to RadiFi Credit Union (not a current member, primary or joint, and not an account owner in the past 12 months).
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Meet RadiFi Credit Union membership eligibility requirements.
- Open a RadiFi Credit Union Basic Savings account with the required minimum balance of $5.00 and pay the one-time $5.00 membership fee.
- Keep the account open for at least 90 days.
- Remain a member in good standing for 90 days after account opening.
- Referral Process
- The Referring member must provide RadiFi Credit Union with the Referred Member’s contact information using the official RadiFi Credit Union referral form.
- A RadiFi Credit Union representative will then contact the Referred Member directly to complete the referral process.
- Referral rewards will only be awarded for Referred Members who join RadiFi Credit Union within the same calendar year the referral is submitted to the Credit Union.
- Referral submissions presented to RadiFi Credit Union after the Referred Member has already joined the Credit Union will not qualify for the reward.
- Only one Referring Member may be named per new membership. In the event that multiple existing members refer the same person, the referral submitted to RadiFi Credit Union first, as determined by the date and time the completed referral form is received by the Credit Union, will be honored.
- Rewards will be deposited into the primary savings account of both the Referring Member and the Referred Member within 30 days after the Referred Member’s account has been open for at least 90 days and all eligibility requirements have been met.
- Reward Details
- Each reward is a one-time $25 deposit per referral.
- Referring Members may earn multiple rewards; however, each Referred Member can only be referred once.
- Rewards may be reported to the IRS as dividends and may be subject to tax. The member is responsible for any applicable taxes. Please consult with your tax advisor.
- Fraud, Abuse, and Misuse
RadiFi Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify referrals, withhold or reverse rewards, and/or close accounts if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the Program is being abused or used for inappropriate, high risk, or fraudulent purposes. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information during account opening.
- Opening an account without the true intent to establish and maintain membership.
- Coordinating with others to create fictitious or duplicate memberships for the sole purpose of earning rewards.
- Any attempt to circumvent eligibility requirements or these Terms & Conditions.
RadiFi Credit Union’s decisions regarding eligibility and reward payment are final.
- Restrictions
- Self-referrals are not eligible.
- Employees, officials, and volunteers of RadiFi Credit Union are not eligible to participate.
- Membership and all products and services are subject to approval.
- Program Changes & Termination
RadiFi Credit Union may modify or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice. Rewards earned prior to the termination date will be honored in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
- Dispute Resolution
Participation in this Program is subject to the terms of RadiFi Credit Union’s Membership and Account Agreement, including its binding arbitration and dispute resolution provisions.
- Governing Law
This Program is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
