Android 13 Now Required for the RadiFi Mobile Banking App
At RadiFi, your security comes first. Starting September 15, 2025, the RadiFi Mobile Banking App now requires Android 13 or higher to ensure your financial information remains safe and your mobile banking experience runs smoothly.
If your device is on Android 12 or earlier, the app may still open, but it is no longer supported. This means it will not receive updates, fixes, or security protections, and performance may become limited over time.
This change does not affect members using Apple (iOS) devices or Online Banking. Most Android users are already on version 13 or higher, so only a small group of members need to take action.
Why the change?
Google has ended security support for Android 12 and earlier versions. Without these updates, older devices are more vulnerable to:
- Fraud and identity theft
- Malware or viruses
- Unauthorized access to personal and financial information
Our digital banking provider requires the app to run on supported versions to protect you and keep your accounts safe.
What to do if you’re affected
Step 1: Check your Android version
Go to Settings → About Phone (or System) → Android Version.
Step 2: Update your phone if possible
- Go to Settings → System (or Software Update) → System Update → Download and Install.
- Connect to Wi-Fi and make sure your phone has at least 50% battery.
Step 3: If your phone doesn’t support Android 13
- Some older devices cannot update past Android 12.
- If this applies to you, you will need a newer device to continue using the RadiFi Mobile Banking App securely.
- In the meantime, you can always use Online Banking or log in from an iOS device.
